About the event

A powerful evening of devotional, ancestral and sound healing.

Devotion or Bhakti Yoga is one of the four streams of Yoga. It is also the most  powerful. Love is all we need, because love is what we are. Kirtan or the science of emotions culture is a call and response form of expressing emotions.

Did  you know that we carry 108 generations of both our paternal and  maternal lineage in our DNA? What our ancestors could not process, we  inherited. What we do not process, will be passed on. Ancestral healing is powerful and simple healing tool.

There is a Vedic saying"Nada  Brahma,” which translates into "all is sound" or "sound is God," which  means that all is brought into being by sound; by frequency. Sound  provides the pattern and the motion by which all forms arise. Meaning that when used appropriately, intentionally and consciously, the Yoga of Sound, Nada Yoga effectively releases what is unprocessed and stored in our DNA.

Saturday is Saturn’s day. Saturn  is the significator of our challenges, hardships and life lessons. This  energy is the taskmaster of karma, connected to sorrow, death and our  ancestors. Saturdays are very  auspicious for releasing the stress, toxins, drama and trauma that we  have accumulated in our cells. The cosmos are literally supporting us,  in overcoming obstacles, resolving challenges, healing our ancestors and  ourselves.

Expect  a safe space, deep relaxation and a very soothing experience. Feel free  to bring a journal and pen, wear comfortable, blue or black clothing  and we will take care of the rest. No experience is necessary and  everyone is welcome.

Kevin Gaudet from Sound of  Source is returning to share his compelling approach to sound as a healing modality. Soni Dashmohapatra is joining us for the first time to share her culture, its potency and her devotion. We will end with an ancient water offering to honour our ancestors.

Doors open at 5:30pm and the investment is $60. If you are unable to attend in person, please come online for no charge.
